For literally decades, I have paid our car registrations and renewed my license on time. Like clockwork. This year, I didn't realize I had an expired license until a month after it expired (only when I had to get a visa for Brazil and needed the license), and I completely missed paying a registration on one of our cars that was due in Feb and didn't notice it until JULY. Holy crap. Now, it's a convertible that I generally drive mostly from April-Oct, but still. How did I miss that, man? Too much work, or maybe an early sign of worse.
