I was waiting to trade in a car and buy a used non Mercedes, and mentioned I had a convertible. The sales guy says, "You have to see this - our warm scarf feature" and leaves his cube. Mildly alarmed, because that phrase at a car dealership doesn't sound right, I followed.

He took me to a $100k-plus convertible, and pointed to a metal stem between the seat and the headrest. "When you turn on this feature, warm air blows across your neck, like a scarf!" he said proudly. It was all I could do to stifle laughter. Really? May as well add a bidet feature.
