Went to a funeral today for an old friend of mine. We went to

The same church as middle/high schoolers and during college years would play basketball together every week at the Queen of Apostles. I hadn't spoken to him in a few years and found out a couple days ago he had gone in for a second, and very risky, heart surgery. I believe he made it through the surgery but something happened while still in the hospital and he went into cardiac arrest. Young fella too, only 35 years old. I cant imagine what his wife is going through.

I was a little late to the church today so I didnt notice this until after I got back to my car after the service but I looked up and the lot I was in doubled as an outdoor basketball court. All I could think was "Frank, I would've dominated you on this court."

Rest in peace buddy. You better be practicing up there cause I'm expecting another 1x1 game if I get in.
