Spent 8 days in the the hospital at Christmas several years ago with it. IV


Antibiotics for the next 30 days. Came back a year later and caught the infection earlier this time. Had surgery about 6 months later to remove about 8 inches of my sigmoid colon. No problems since. It was amazing how much better my gut health was immediately after surgery. Luckily I didn't need a bag and was able to return to work after about 3 to 4 weeks.
