OK finally a break until tonights medal rounds.

I appreciate the posts by others during matches that I am remote and can't watch so thought I would return the favor this time.

I cannot express how impressed I was with Bolen, Gerardi, Smeltzer and Laprade!! Those guys really stood out to me. Bolen is Bolen and a stud in bloom. Gerardi and Smeltzer I had not idea, but count me a believer now -- they were not intimidated. Laprade continues to improve and show more patience. I am scared of Smeltz and Laprade's injuries and am hoping for the best.

McF, Sleigh, and Miller are right where I thought they would be for this tournament. I think they continue to trend in the right direction for NCAAs. We have to remember these guys were all a little late to the party for one reason or another.

Hughes and Borst had tougher outings, but IMO showed some real talent and positives as well even though they did not go deep in this tough draw.

Good stuff and very bright future...and it looks like the lower weights might be trending better in the next couple of years while keeping the upper weights pipeline strong.
