What do weekend games have to do with students going to the game?

They live within 10 minutes of the coliseum. Please don't tell me that 30k students are all studying and can't make a weekday game. That's crap.

As for ticket revenue, the Syracuse, Duke, UVA and Miami games are already sold out individually.

I'm not disagreeing VT got the short end of the stick on the dates of their Saturday home games. That part sucks. It happens. However, 3 of the last 5 total game are home games, and all 3 are sold out. Why does it matter to the team if they play at home on a Tuesday or a Saturday? Or does it only matter to you because it inconveniences you?
