Thanks, but I was not in the VTCC. Major Williams was a dorm adjacent to
the Corps barracks.
We'd engage in friendly (mostly) snowball fights within our quad - as opposed to the big one now held on the drill field. We'd usually whack them as they marched to the dining hall, as we were a bunch of hippies and loosers.
This was the early '70s, so the corps was smaller, and this was during the end of the Viet Nam war. It was more of an "us vs them" at that time. Sadly.
