If dormant, you can use anything.


I actually use trugreen and pull from the roots the big crabgrass to make easier. However, best way to help is to airrate in late spring, then spread sand across the yard about 1/4 to 1/8 inch deep. It will create a thicker yard and that is the best weed prevention with Bermuda
