Can any of you audiobook fans recommend a service?

I'm an avid music listener in the car, but am thinking about breaking up my commute with some books. Am I better off buying them one-off versus a service? What's the break-even point? Best way to get them?

I'll be listening via Bluetooth from an iPhone.
