My neighbor’s high school daughter sent $5k to Africa once


Girl was so stupid. Met in an online chat room for ballet dancers. Scammer said she was with a ballet troop in Africa. They needed $5k for costumes and the costume company would only take money form a US bank. Africa scammer spent her a check or an ACH for $5k, the dumb girl then sent the “costume company” $5k, thinking it was a net $0 transaction. The $5k she received of course bounced or got clawed back.....long story short, she was out $5k.

Most dysfunctional family of all time btw. Australians. Complete arrogant alcoholics.
