I'm starting a grass roots movement to limit effort, agreement, and ...

commitment BACK to 100%. I am so sick of hearing about 'giving 110% effort' ... that is impossible. It is bad math that makes us sound stupid. The same person wouldn't try to say that 4 is an odd integer. And how about 'I agree with you 1000%'. Even more stupid and actually makes zero sense if you think about it. High school recruits say they are '800% committed' ... apparently they were only about 40% committed to math in middle school.

Yeah - it is a pet peeve but it has always bugged me. An investment can go up 200% (unless I own it). TSL membership can go up 300% (I hope it does). But this percentage thing has gotten 250% out of hand and I am 400% tired of it. Waiting for the first reply that they 1000% agree or disagree with this rant.
