I still have my Tucson Toros hat...

Astros AAA team. Brewers for for one year in '97. Billy Wagner was with the Toros for a couple of months '96...he was called up in June to Houston. Great kid Billy, interesting life he had growing up in Tannersville. His grandparents were friends with my parents. Billy is great friends with my 1st cousin.

He could have gone to Rich Valley HS/Northwood HS (many kids from Tannersville opt to go to school in Smyth County instead of crossing the mountain...long trip) but wisely chose Tazewell HS.

Then they became the Tucson Sidewinders AAA for the D'backs.

Now Tucson doesn't have a team.
