Just got my '16 ND MX5 back from the dealer with a new Transmission
replaced under warranty. That series of the 6 Spd had a known issue and there was a TSB, Mazda replaced it without argument.
Bottom line for petrol-heads is that there are some things are are just right in the world. The ND MX5 is without question one of them.
And on a related note; I had 2 loaners. An 18 Mazda6 Signature and a '19 CX5. Both were numb, insulated, and uninspiring. Also both cars had WAY too many baby sitting options with an F'in beep for everything. The lane change warning on both beeped waaaaaay too early; The Mazda6 had a Camera it seemed at every inch on the exterior of the car. Both cars had a HORRIBLE steering feel; probably the worst I have ever experienced in all my years of owning a car.
I was just giddy to get back in my car. true sports car enthusiasts are truly blessed to be able to enjoy the Mx5's before they become dumbed down, and insulted and automated like every other car in America. There are some things in life that are just RIGHT. The ND is one of them. [Post edited by vt_mughal at 02/15/2019 7:13PM]
