Heck, I was in NYC about a month ago, a panhandler made a request and I kinda looked at him with a sympathetic but no smile. He looked at me and said "At least you smiled" I don't do the pretend you're not there routine.

Couple people have mentioned Nashville, if I ever go, I guess I'll be prepared.
