Friday is always a good day to fire people. Usually, the victim goes quietly and the rest of the staff are happy for the weekend and then Monday just happy they have jobs.

Anyway, this guy is a so-so employee but the kicker is that his electronic communication is horrible. He'll send out meeting minutes with the subject of 'Food request' or 'Party in my office'. WTF? The last straw was a critical email that needed to be signed-off by senior management but this guy sent it out under the subject of 'My cat is sick - I will be out today' - so nobody read it. - WTF? And he is often in the habit of replying all to emails just needing an individual response - really annoying and bogs down our network.

Senior VP tried to talk to him about it but he got really defensive. They thought he'd get violent but he seemed to calm down a bit until he stormed out of the office kicking poor defenseless trashcans on his way out. Obviously, an employee not really open to constructive criticism.

Who really has trouble aligning email content with the subject line?

We are bringing in extra security today .. just in case.
