There are multiple problems
and it isn't just depth. The men's team is down to 7 healthy players some of which were thrown in because of injuries and yet they still win games even without Justin because they are one unit. The women's team is not. The second they beat Miami I expected them to choke at Clemson but honestly as sad as it is that is what is expected at this point. Another problem is this is the second game in which I have seen Kendyl laugh and smile after turning the ball over when it was a 2 point game. Then come back on the other end and commit a foul. That needs to be corrected. I don't care if we are up by 50 it still isn't funny at any point to turn the ball over. No other coach would put up with that or think it is funny, granted maybe Kenny didn't see it. But that sets an example for the rest of the team and that isn't a good one. Until every possession is cherished this is going to continue to happen. Then we have the mentality that if we beat a team like Miami then we can definitely beat a team like Clemson. We are not even close to being good enough to have that mentality and even then the teams that are that good do not have that mentality period. We still feel like things are owed to us and honestly I am tired of it and I know a lot of the fan base probably is too. Sadly I see us being even worse next year because if we were going to get back to the NCAA Tournament it would have been this year and that is not happening which is really sad because the seniors deserve to be in it at least once. We literally choke more than any team on the women's and probably the men's side as well when it comes to close games. I hate to say all of these things but this is what I see and my frustrations are coming out. I will always support the team but after many years I am tired of seeing the same thing over and over, if not worse. The women's team is the complete opposite of the men's team.
