My Aussie was great. Our current dog is a standard poodle. Awesome dog.


The negative for the Aussie was he didn't like other dogs. He had 2-3 dog friends, and hated the rest. Smart as hell, and never tried to steal any food. I could leave food on the coffee table, and he wouldn't touch it.

Only negative that I can see with the poodle is that he'll steal food when he can, and for whatever reason, he likes to eat tissues out of the wastebasket. He's great with people and other dogs. He likes to take a sip of my beer whenever I crack one open. I love that dog (don't tell my wife).
