With the tax law changes from last year they take affect with the 2018 tax


filings, the married Stan. ded. is $24,700 now and there is a $10k limit on allowed state and local tax to be included in your itemized. Those are your normal state tax paid and property tax. The personal and dependent exemptions are also eliminated and the withholding tables were changed back in 2/18 so many people are seeing less refunds now but not necessarily paying more income tax to the feds
