Their fans and coaches are as passionate as ours (although theirs are a little annoying) and they make us a better team and conference.

From my perspective, the results aren’t too shocking. Overall, we looked good with a few areas we know we must improve to get another top 10 finish.

I noticed some posts concerned about conditioning. I sort of see that perspective but most of the folks who looked gassed were in tough matches and most of them got the win. My concern is the guys who lose but aren’t gassed. We win more times than not when our guys let it fly and walk off the mat with their hands on their hips.

I didn’t see all our matches but it seems when we stay on our offense and get the first take down we usually come out with the win. How about Miller? Dude lit Thomas up in the second and third period. If he’d had the same mentality in the first, he may have won.

The hard work has been done. I hope our guys rest up briefly and get back in the room to polish up individual areas that need tweaking and keep their weight in check.
