Obviously the one wrestler whose status for NCAAs is up in the air is Joey Prata at 125. Instead of asking a guru about his chances, I decided I’d do the research using the resources I’ve learned from others on the board here. There are 29 auto qualifiers at 125, leaving 4 at-large bids available (thanks for larhokie for the correction). Here is my analysis including the most recent coaches’ rankings/RPI for each potential at-large qualifier:

Big 12 - 5 auto qualifiers. Christian Moody (Oklahoma) stole a bid by finishing 4th.
Potential at-large bids:
Rico Montoya (Northern Colorado) - went 2-3 in conf tournament; ranked 17 in coaches/27 in RPI; 2-time NCAA qualifier
Cole Verner (Wyoming) - 1-2; 20/16
Sidney Flores (Air Force) - 0-2; 26/30

Big 10 - 9 AQs. Malik Henseilman (Ohio State) stole a bid by finishing 9th.
Potential at-large bids:
Zeke Moisey (Nebraska) - 0-3; 14/12; 2-time All-American

EIWA - 4 AQs. Gage Curry (American) stole a bid finishing 3rd.
Potential at-large bids:
Trey Chalifoux (Army) - 2-2; 27/21

EWL - 1 AQ. Willy Girard (Bloomsburg) earned by finishing 1st
Potential at-large bids:
Luke Werner (Lock Haven) - 2-1; 32/26

MAC - 4 AQs. Bryce West (Northern Illinois) stole a bid by finishing 3rd
Potential at-large bids:
Shakur Laney (Ohio) - 1-3; 21/22; 2-time NCAA qualifier
Kyle Akins (Buffalo) - 2-3; 33/NR

PAC 12 - 3 AQs. No bids stolen.

SoCon - 1 AQ. Korbin Meink (Campbell) stole a bid finishing 1st.
Potential at-large bids:
Alonzo Allen (Chattanooga) - 1-1; 31/18; 1-time NCAA qualifier

For comparison, Joey Prata - 3-1; NR/32. The only wrestler of those above he faced was Alonzo Allen, who he lost to 10-2 MD. It’s almost impossible to imagine Moisey, Montoya, Verner, Laney, and Allen (due to head to head win) not being ahead of Prata. I’d say Joey might be slightly ahead of Akins and slightly behind Werner, Flores, and Chalifoux. Moisey did medical forfeit out of the Big 10 tournament so it’s possible he won’t be able to go. With only 4 at-large bids, I don’t think there’s any chance Prata gets one.
