Ok, I had this last year. I ended up on crutches and couldn't even stand to take leak or shower. It sucked to say the least. I'm still not 100%, so here it goes:
- Make sure you take the recommendation to get an elevated shoe/block on your good foot or use crutches. This is one reason why my knees gave up.
- Stay active as much as you can. Once you give up the muscle mass, it is hard to get it back. Try to work through it.
- Try to limit the NSAIDS, they kill you. I was on a high dosage for months and have learned the benefits of Tumeric where you get a more natural less body crushing pain relief. I didn't believe in the hippy $h!t until I tried it...I now spend more money than I care to admit on this stuff, but I was paying for it in NSAIDS too.
