My dad mowed the lawn twice a week when I was a kid. I think he


At least cut it long and he claimed it always needed it. Most of it was on the riding mower, so I really just think he liked to decompress after work and drink beer while driving the mower. Doubt he performed the push mower parts as often, conveniently enough.

I think about it now because I struggle to do it the required once a week between youth sports, inopportune rain, etc.
