I wouldn't take his comment as trashing. He hasn't had good results the past few outings (fact) - but that's baseball. Pitchers need to embrace accountability if they want a "W" or "S" besides their name in the scorebook. Its a maturing process. He's no longer a 19yr old - he's an ACC closer.

All 9 positions have had their struggles also. Not just him. This game will humble you real quick. Bricks will be fine and the team certainly needs him. I have a feeling something is about to change. Maybe they all need bats thrown at them in the shower. haha... They'll all be fine and Bricks will do great things for Hokies. His future is bright.

There's a reason the scoreboard has R H E on it. It's because it's all a part of the game and I guarantee each letter will be filled every year.
