Robie is hitting the long ball


I agree with Jersey's assessment of the number of ways the Brewer hire was a home run.

I think we all were extremely pleased when Robie was able to bring in Molinaro and Frayer - and despite losing Frank, which is going to happen with assistants anyways - hiring Brewer is a continuation of that success. The most sought after young guys are not going to programs that they don't see as a place to continue their own development and also show off their coaching abilities.

With the decade-long rise of the program and then Mekhi's win, the Tech room has become a place where better recruits and the best young coaches want to be.
