Finished plowing through the War and Remembrance miniseries...


all the recasting was an improvement. Jane Seymour over Ali McGraw, Hart Bochner over Jan-Michael Vincent, even Sir John Gielgud over John Houseman. The Battle of Midway sequence was excellent; the death camp scenes very hard to watch.

Only real flaw is Robert Mitchum was just too damn old.
