I like the Webers - when we bought our house, dad offered to get a grill

and was willing to go for the Weber - I made the mistake of going with a stainless grill-master. The grills has been ok but the stainless definitely isn't. I've also found it relatively difficult to find replacement parts as the model & serial numbers are frequently changing so I've ended up with generics.

Check the manufacturer site or other sources for the amount of replacement parts available for whatever you buy. My suggestion would be to pick something relatively high end with a durable body that has replacement components widely available. The best way to extend the life of your grill is to replace the internal parts (grates, burners, etc...) with some frequency. The grill we have now has too many external issues, rust, doors falling off, etc. for it to be worth it so we will replace it soon.
