Official tomorrow, I think...Early thoughts:


Of the newcomers, I like Bourbon War and Anothertwistafate.

Not sure yet who the sprinters are yet.

Bourbon wants to run mid-pack but closer to the front than his last race (Fla Derby -4th). He will be blinkers on for the first time, which should help Irad place him better. He's had a 7 week lay-off. (March 30).

ATAF has run some excellent races, Win or place in 6 of his 7 starts. Won the El Camino Derby. Second in Sunland Derby and Lexington Stakes. Lacked a clear path in those two races, otherwise was the best horse. New jockey--Castillano off/ Jose Ortiz on.

Of the Derby horses, I like Improbable, but that was a brutal race. Will was all cut up as you can imagine.
