VT needs some other teams in the Coastal to step up

OK, that's kinda funny considering we just stepped up.

UK lost a lot of games but they're hard as steel right now. Lot of what I saw past couple days was mental, the errors, Eberle got pretty loose after bad things happening etc. a lot of head case here when things stop being easy. Probably paradoxical that VT's won-loss record kinda hurt them, a few too many too easy games. Can we schedule a few games against FSU? ND? We played neither this year. (Kinda like our divisions are "conferences" with so little cross division play.) I kinda get the idea that you adjust your OOC games to your skill level and would expect a few more tough games.

Anyway, that was good experience, something to think about before the season even starts, during practice. Hoping that Pete corrected pitching and hitting this year and expect added emphasis on defense. And it was a good season, post-season was gravy and we were 2-2.
