Reminds me of a summer job my wife had in the late '80s

she worked at the FFX county Gypsy Moth office. Their job was to place lure tapes around different areas throughout the county. The tape had female gypsy moth pheromones and while they wore gloves, the gloves often tore and the pheromones were fairly systemic.

That summer she could not go to outdoor parties because the gypsy moths would be attracted to her.
