so sold my house recently to some moron who for whatever reason gave us 10K over asking. We were trying to just get rid of it as my wife and I are relocating and already made a ton of money on it since we bought during the downturn.

We made it really clear on the house listing there was some recent hail damage and bad odor in the basement. For the hail damage we made it clear in the closing documents all they had to do was call the insurance company to get it fixed. For the basement we just said take it as is.

Couple weeks later they are now suing us even though everything was written in plain English. We low-balled an offer to fix the issues, they came back with an crazy high number which we will reject.

I really hope they sue us, going to make sure our lawyer asks for continuances and make them spend some money just so I can eventually show them what they missed during closing, clearly listed issues with the house!
