Do your wives seem to revel in making themselves unhappy? ...

This morning my wife is reading an article in the paper about vegan burgers; the composition, the prices, the demand, etc. She seemed appalled and stopped to negatively comment on it many times. I asked her why are you continuing to read this if it bothers you and why does it matter to you any way? That was not well received. Do you experience similar? I invite any wives to provide any perspective they want to share as well because you are only hearing of this occurrence from mine.
