Growing up I was a big Mario fan. I swore I was not going to root for


Michael just because he was Mario's son but he was great to watch.
My favorite Mario story...before the first Denver CART race the interviewer said that it was a very tight and difficult circuit to pass on, could you force your opponent into a mistake. Mario said yes, but it's a very fine line because you have to use your car harder as an attacker. He was in second place, I think behind Teo Fabi, when Fabi boiled his brakes and went straigjt into a barrier, letting Mario by.
My favorite Michael moment... at Phoenix... he was attacking the car ahead of him for position. That car went low through a corner under a back marker. Michael went high way into the gray, making it three wide. I know I puckered. It's not possible. He cleanly passed both cars. To this day I don't know how he did that. He was incredible to watch
