Typically a 3 month lead. Jennings was there for over 4 months.

I read a couple of blogs yesterday that had a lot of info from former players.

Tape Tuesday and W (or Th) each week.
They find out when it will air just before their taping.
Average delay is 3 months, but could be longer when building inventory for off-season.
Also may be shorter.
If someone "survives" a full day of taping (5 wins) they're wiped out afterwards. (Note: IMHO, current winner seems to have no visible affect from his streak.)
