Something similar w/the NBA starting right after March Madness, you've got all this perfect build up!

When I was at VT in the 70s, the finals were in the end of May, Lakers - Celtics type stuff. I would be studying for finals and turn on the tv for a break and it was terrific stuff.

Hockey in the middle of June? Basketball indoors in the middle of June? And the seasons start all over again in about three months. I would think even an ardent NHL or NBA fan shouldn't even tune into it until maybe January, the way it's set up now.
