One more thing about pruning the lower stems...Alcohol


Clean your hands and pruning implement with alcohol after hitting each plant. Otherwise, you could inadvertently transmit the viruses/fungus between plants like a skeeter transmitting malaria.

Did I do this today? Nope. Too damn lazy.
