You sure you mean 50 year old clubs, and not 30?


Fifty years ago, woods were made of wood. I'm not quite 50, and my first set of clubs were wood.

I agree a modern pro hitting an original Big Bertha or Bubble Driver would still do just fine. The improvements made since then have been very incremental. But even a complete hack like me can tell the difference between 50 year old club tech and what we have today.
