It's somewhat universally considered to be the best of the best of the


budget bourbons.

Are there better ones out there? Sure. But you probably won't find them for BT's price point.

I don't find it to have particularly complex flavor. But if you want a solid benchmark of what good bourbon should taste like, it's tough to beat. Good enough to drink neat, but not so complex you ruin it by mixing.
