We had a USMC 4-star general running the show, and he decided he wanted the command out running every Friday morning. Sort of a moral building event. The Army and USMC had PT outfits, but the Navy and AF didn't have anything official at the time, so we wore whatever we had. I had Navy blue running shorts, and a grey t-shirt with a "low vis" version of the linked picture. Thought it was about as close as I could get to official Navy PT gear.

Well, there was this one AF guy in my directorate that hated the idea of running in formation, so he showed up wearing a very bright lime green lycra "full body suit" for the first command run. To say he stood out would be an understatement...lol The following Friday, he showed up in a very bright pink lycra "full body suit" for that run. The following Monday, our General announced that he had obtained funds to outfit everyone in "official" combatant command PT outfits. Not quite the result Andy had hoped for, but he provided everyone with some comic relief...lol
