Spindle alignment off, blades unbalanced, or installed the wrong way?


Seems unlikely that the blades are installed upside down (since you had the problem before as well), but something to check.

Seems more likely the blades are unbalanced, the deck is warped, or that the spindle alignment is off.

"A strip of uncut grass left in the middle of mowing rows could signal that your lawnmower's blades are unbalanced or that one or both of them was installed the wrong way. Lawnmower blades are beveled and specifically designed to attach in a certain fashion. If one of the blades is upside down, the result is shoddy mowing. Ensure that your mower's blades are on correctly, that both are secured tightly to the mower deck and that both are balanced."
