We actually have our own Honeycrisp tree. Producing for the first time


this year. I'm going to pick one soon because the coloration LOOKS ripe, but the apples are small (probably makes sense for a young tree). Still, early / mid August would be early for that varietal.

AND....we have some pick your own places nearby where the honeycrisp price isn't much of a premium, and the Mutsu are same as any other apple.
