I went and looked at the surgeon general site to see what they have to say

Doesn't look like cancer is one of the risks listed. It still means inhaling a bunch of chemicals, heavy metals, and VOCs. Plenty of things in there that aren't good for your lungs or brain, esp. if your body is still developing. But doesn't look like it's been linked to cancer yet.
