Hmm...don't see that here, but in many localities...


...Fire and Rescue are combined departments. With most Professional FDs, all the firefighters are EMTs, and many are paramedics. So you have the rescue squad present, and they can expedite an ambulance if needed while leaving that resource for regular calls as well.
