Would recommend anyone who wants them to buy them, but also...

If they're going to the gym, should also buy a pair of something like these:

Doubtful their sound quality can match much nicer headphones, but there is so much noise at the gym you probably won't notice. Not to mention losing a pair of $35 headphones is much easier than losing $200 headphones...
