Allergies (The real ones.) Anecdotal testimony sought from sufferers.


I never had allergies to anything plant, animal, mineral. Have lived in a huge variety of environments including northern MI, GA, Missouri Ozarks, NoVA, SWVA, Bavaria, south Saharan Africa, Colorado, and exclusively for 33 years in east area of Charlotte.

I presumed I had an immune system totally resistant to anything Earth could throw at me. I've known and have worked around people whose severe allergies were painful to witness and their collective symptoms make me feel like I've succumbed to this crap.


For two years we've lived in SW Charlotte, where plant material in our immediate environs is very unlike anything we ever saw across town. Can't believe it could be making much of a difference.

For the past month I've had a hacking, violent cough mostly at night. It's an annoying as hell tickle in the back of my throat - not GERD (have had that), or asthma. I coughed so hard twice over the weekend I feel like I ripped a rib loose in my back.

Don't want to visit an allergist, want a magic pill. Anything?
