Exactly. I have definitely noticed that sports is already heading


in that direction. If I want to watch some of the European soccer leagues or any of the rugby leagues located in other parts of the world, then I had to get the additional packages.

In the case of CBS All Access the other thing I discovered is I now have the ability to watch a series (i.e. JAG, Wings, etc) that no longer airs on the channel without having to go out and buy the complete series. I haven't checked to see if any of the series are available to stream using other services (i.e. Amazon, Netflix, etc). I figure CBS will either continue to add new content or replace existing content depending on how much space they have available. I would think the other networks are either doing it now or considering it. As DVDs and Blu-ray phase out, this feature could become more important to consumers particularly if they want to watch a series they liked/loved from a previous decade/century.
