I remember Fallon playing a free show at VT in Squires in 1998 or 1999

It was during his first season on SNL, and he was a relative unknown. There were maybe only 100 - 200 people there in a classroom where they used to show second-run movies. His material was very raw, but I remember vividly his musical impressions of Alanis Morissette and Coldplay doing parodies and also mocking some students for coming in late.

The next year he exploded in popularity and played a sold out show in Burruss.
