I hit on a cashier at Giant once when I was a year or so out of college


I was hanging out with a few friends, and two of us were picking up snacks while another two were getting a rental movie in the same shopping center. The cashier was cute so I was talking her up and getting nowhere -- in fact, I was getting negative yardage on the play. Couldn't understand why.

Then as we're leaving I turn to my friend and started to comment on just how hard I got shot down -- and instead burst out laughing. You see, my friend was eight months pregnant. Not mine, but the cashier obviously thought otherwise and was throwing all the hate she could at me for hitting on her in front of my assumed very-pregnant wife.
