Yes. With Apple Pay, your credit card # does not go through the system.


At all. Never leaves your phone. Apple Pay App generates a one-time random number that your credit card company recognizes as you. It is far, far more secure. I always use it when possible.

I was previously involved in the Target hack with my credit card.
