It's silly to not take it at face value given the format we're receiving

it. My point of my bon bons post was to mock your thought process. Who cares? If the bet was that serious, I'm sure they found a way to help vet out that process. Technology certainly exists now, maybe a bit more crude when the bet started. And God forbid the friends (betting parties) had faith in each other's integrity.
