I want to say that the Petty School allows people to use their own vehicle


At least my uncle, who was good friends with Ricky Rudd, took his Tahoe on the track for a couple of laps and got it up to 100 mph. Now maybe he was given special permission because he was one of Ricky's lawyers (never asked him when he was alive). However, it was funny (as a kid) watching my my grandmother give him her $0.02 worth for going that fast with his wife and 3 kids in the vehicle. She said he was lucky he didn't flip the Tahoe going around one of the turns. Since he lived in Richmond, he may have gotten to take his Tahoe on RIR too (not sure how fast he would have gone if he did).
